This is an ancient Seal depicting a recumbent stag. From the Sassanian Empire, 3rd Century AD, this seal is from the Indus Valley, Pakistan. Worn as a pendant, this ancient striated  carnelian seal has a 6mm hole, and a lovely stag, reclining. 22mm diameter x 19mm tall x 8mm thick. One of the best in my collection of 30 seals, many stones, including carnelian, agate, iron ore, and jasper. All unique and highly collectible! The wax relief shows as clearly as possible the impression. So unique, rare and highly collectible!
